The Long Beach Island Rotary Club is a chapter of Rotary international. The Volunteer organization is dedicated to providing humanitarian service, promoting high ethical standards, building goodwill, sharing in fellowship and working for peace throughout the world since 1905.

The Essence of Rotary is “Service Above Self” and the LBI Rotary Club was founded in 1950 to embody this ideal. Our club serves the community by donating over $50,000 a year in support of, but not limited to:

In addition, LBI Rotary supports Southern Regional High School and Long Beach Island Schools by awarding scholarships of over $20,000 each year to deserving students and sponsoring student activities and programs such as the Interact Club, student exchange programs, band programs, RYLA, class trips, annual honor society dinner and the annual Christmas party for LBI kindergartners.

The Long Beach Island Rotary Club, which comprises over 30 individuals from diversified business and professional vocations, meets every Thursday at 12:15pm at Nardi’s Tavern and Grille located at 11801 Long Beach Boulevard in Long Beach Township.
Long Beach Island Rotary offers membership to men and women who are willing to dedicate themselves to the ideals of Rotary and who are willing to commit to ” Service Above Self.”
